I’m Tamara Knappenberger, Art Director and Graphic Designer with a long history of working for non-profit organizations. Thank you for visiting my website and viewing my work. I have been fortunate to work on a wide variety of design projects. Each one poses unique visual communication challenges that I have greatly enjoyed meeting and learning from.

Clear, concise, yet thorough relay of visual information drives every design project I work on. From templating newsletters to event layout, From developing visual identity and branding to fundraising appeals through social media, my goal is to present information, mood, and spark engagement at first glance.

I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Montana State University and a B.A. in Geography, specializing in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wyoming.

I was born and raised on a ranch in Wyoming, and have lived in Park City, UT; Seattle, WA; Burlington, VT, Rehovot, Israel and have settled down in Bozeman, MT. For fun, I hang out with my teenage kids, DJ at a local community radio station, work on quasi-guerilla art projects, lead a 4-H Horse club, photograph my surroundings, and take advantage of every available opportunity to bring kids and art together. If I’m not teaching an art class, I’m taking an art class. All of this things fuel my design process and considerations.

I would love to connect for a lively discussion about the merits of Futura versus Frutiger, OR perhaps to plot an imagination-sparking work of public art, OR to discuss how my design skills might assist your communication needs.

Thank you for stopping by!
